Coffee please!

Ella is such a curious girl lately! She is LOVING to feel hot and cold cups - and put her hands on the side (Don't worry - I make sure they are not too hot!!) She also likes to be a big girl and pretend like she's drinking Mom's coffee :) (Don't worry again! I make sure she doesn't actually get a taste!) It is pretty cute though!

Since it was such a beautiful day on Sunday, Mommy pretty much made Daddy help carve out a pumpkin to put our little baby girl, Ella, in :) Pumpkin was a BIG one from Sams Club - as you can see, Ella wasn't too fond of the cold pumpkin - Although she was in her sleep sack, and then there was a garbage bag lining the pumpkin too... Anyhw, there are some cute ones!

I'm having so much fun with the Nikon!! I love the third shot and the picture of Ian with Ella - Beautiful day today! The only reason I'm inside right now is because Ella is sleeping in the swing - Love you all!

Hey Folks :)
Well.... With Christmas coming up, and the idea of Christmas cards and maybe Christmas photos of Ella - plus because I want to - I've decided to get out the good camera and see what it (and I!) can do :) It's all a trick of lighting and background, and of course the star of the show needs to be in the mood :)

I love the last picture of her - too bad Mom didn't clean out her nose before the photo shoot! ah well... there's always Photoshop :)

Hey all!
Sorry it's been a while since I've posted anything! Ella is doing good - getting bigger and more mature every day! It's fun all the things that she's learning - and she's growling/grunting now to communicate, which is pretty funny! We call her our little 'Wild Thing' :)

Above are some pictures that we had done professionally - Ian and I were wondering if any of you wanted a picture or two for Christmas? These are the proofs she put on her website, but I think there might be others to choose from? Or we can ask for different version of the pictures. Funny - sometimes the pics don't look like Ella to me!

But - let us know :) Christmas is coming! Ella's first Christmas! Yay :)

Centerpiece

Hi everyone :) Ella is down for a nap right now, so I thought I would update the blog! She has been staying up super late lately - until after 10pm! She thinks EVERYTHING is funny when her mom and dad are tired! We even wake up her up in the evenings so she gets tired - we'll see, can't last for too long!!

Here is Ella a the centerpiece of our dining room table - so much prettier than flowers! She loves to lay in her Boppy, and she was having a fussy night, and mom and dad needed to eat! So we just plopped her right on the table :) As you can see by the third picture, she didn't really mind at all! Just LOVED chewing on that binky!!!
